Towards the end of this week I started getting weirdly sick and progressively super dizzy/nauseated after every meal no matter what I ate. It got to the point where I had to leave work early and put a cold can on my face on the drive home. (Then while out of it I cut into my finger with sharp kitchen scissors which prompted a better-safe-than-sorry urgent care visit). Luckily after rest and some ~48 hours of saltines and gatorade I started feeling better. Well, I felt worse mentally because my body was lacking nutrients and energy, but hey at least I was no longer dizzy in time for the weekend. [Do note my bloody finger and cute moccs below….]
There were some highs to the week though, namely:
– Cozy rainy day mid-week
– A walk with Piper to the pumpkin patch
– Saturday night reunion with friends
– Simple fresh salad with grilled bread & mint lemonade
– Finally crossing little annoying things off of my to-do list!
