Since learning the many amazing health benefits of turmeric– namely it’s anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties- I’ve started trying to add a bit of turmeric into my diet wherever I can. This creamy turmeric milk tea is reminiscent of a chai latte, but will help soothe you to sleep while detoxing the body. Sip, sip!
Turmeric Tea, serves one
1 cup milk of choice (I go almond)
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp honey
1/4 tsp ginger
Heat the milk in a microwave, stir in the spices and drizzle the honey on top.
