Now that summer is fast approaching (though it feels like it’s already here in San Diego…90 degrees this week!) and my Instagram feed has been taken over by the TIU Bikini Series, I’ve been inspired to recommit to eating right and getting workouts in. I generally do this already, but struggle with consistency and tend to let myself indulge a little too much. Like when co-workers bring in donuts….aaaaand that’s where my favorite KIND bars come in!
The main reason I love KIND bars is that they taste and feel like an decadent treat but are actually quite the opposite. There are seriously tons of rad flavors, but my favorite are those in their Nuts & Spices line. Made with whole nuts and delicious spices, each bar has only 5g of sugar or less and no artificial sweeteners. The combination of protein and fiber will hold you over until your next meal, but I like to keep them around to reach for as an alternative to chocolate and candy (which I’m especially susceptible to in the office!). Always gluten-free, all natural, and non-GMO, they make the perfect clean eating snack!
The generous KIND team sent over some new (to me) flavors to try out, and I think I just found my new favorites.
Madagascar Vanilla Almond– mixed nuts (almonds, peanuts, cashews and walnuts) with delicious Madagascar vanilla. Simple, light and delicious.
Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Pecan– a combination of pecans, almonds, cashews, and peanuts drizzled in chocolate with a hint of cinnamon. This one is remniscent of a handful of warm candied pecans from the fair or zoo, but with chocolate on top. And still only 5 grams of sugar. I’m not sure it can get any better than is.
Dark Chocolate Chili Almond– a sweet and spicy blend of mixed nuts drizzled in chocolate with a trio of cascabel, ancho and habanero chilis. I thought this one might be a little too spicy for me, but the chili is actually refreshing and fun!
Tasty, healthy, and truly committed to making the world a little kinder and happier….that’s the sh*t I like.
What are your favorite KIND flavors?!
Disclaimer: I was not compensated for this post, but I received complimentary KIND Bars for my review. However, as always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
