In case you don’t get enough of me over here on my own blog, you can find me featured on two of my favorite blogs this week as well- Halfsies Blog and Live Fit Love Chocolate. Checckkkkk it and show them some love!
In other news, it was another crazy social week. I only sort of kind of apologize for the flood of photographic evidence and Frenchie cuteness about to commence.
Monday- my only free day- I was able to leave work a little early and get some beach time in before making a healthy dinner and heading to Body Pump. The next evening I caught up with an old friend over dinner and an amazing watermelon mint pineapple agua fresca! Definitely need to recreate this summer.
On Wednesday my (puppy) dreams came true! My neighbor let me steal his french bulldog for the night, and I took him out for a date and back home for a slumber party :P. Easton is such a precious little chunky old man alien baby. We met up with Ashleigh and Piper (who was so well-behaved!) at Dirty Dogs Bark After Dark charity event to hang out and watch a lot of doggy butt sniffing. After a drink we headed to a dog friendly patio nearby for dinner and I couldn’t help getting the tired baby up on my lap.
After some cuddles back at home I headed up the ladder to bed, and he got so sad that he couldn’t come up with me I had to go back down and sneak back up later. Basically it was the best night ever.
Had some fun on Thursday happy hour-ing with Ash (again) and Kelli!
And then it was time to kick off the weekend festivities and celebrate with the birthday boy! We grabbed some cold beers and an afternoon snack before meeting up with friends at PB Fish Shop for a fun night.
After a little Saturday iced coffee, Board & Brew, beaching and napping, I had to head back to Sea & Smoke with Gavin for another amazing meal. This time I tried the Seared Wild Alaskan Salmon (with crispy black quinoa and fava beans!) and Solace Watermelon salad. Still dreaming about that salad! It’s perfect.
Today I plan to be super productive then relax and take in the sunshine.
Hope you all had an awesome week and are ready to take on another!
